ABOUT ANNA FOURACRE

I specialise in planning law and have over fourteen years experience in my field. My key areas of expertise are residential development (most notably in London but also across the regions), strategic land and build to rent. I also advise in relation to energy and infrastructure (including nationally significant infrastructure projects) and compulsory purchase and have a depth of experience in planning inquiries and judicial review proceedings. I regularly act for developers and funders and have also been instructed by a number of local authorities. I am also heavily involved on the sustainability side, advising on matters relating to planning reform and the journey to net zero and how this impacts upon all stakeholders in the development process - and also in helping clients engage with new regulatory frameworks and deal with the legal implications of changes in corporate strategies and business models.
