ABOUT ANN SEENA THOMAS
As a civil engineer with building systems expertise, I have a strong background in designing, and operating HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BAS systems. I graduated from Seneca Polytechnic with a post-secondary diploma in Building Systems Engineering Technician, where I earned the President\'s Honours List four times for my outstanding academic achievements. I also hold the BES Class I and II certifications, demonstrating my proficiency and knowledge in building environmental systems.I have over three years of experience in the construction field, working as a site manager and a junior engineer for various projects ranging from residential to commercial complexes. I managed and directed teams of workers, coordinated with contractors and subcontractors, resolved conflicts and maintained positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, and facilitated communication and collaboration among team members. I also monitored operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, interpreted blueprints and construction plans, and utilized computer-aided drafting software programs such as AutoCAD and Revit to create models and reports.
