Innovate Energy, a consortium consisting of EQUANS Services Canada, PCL Constructors Canada, PCL Investments Canada and Black & McDonald, has recently closed a 35-year public-private partnership contract to modernize, maintain and operate the district energy system that heats 80 buildings and cools 67 buildings, including the Parliament Buildings, in Canada’s capital region. This mandate is part of the Government of Canada’s Energy Services Acquisition Program (ESAP) and it will contribute to the Government’s goal to reduce its energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its own operations by 40% by 2030.\\\\n\\\\nAs a Quality Director responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality and Energy Management System (ISO 9001/ ISO and ensuring effective design, construction and operation & maintenance. Participating in Design Reviews. Preparing Quality Audit Plan and scheduling and conducting Quality Audits of key processes with the Private Partner. Developing and implementing an effective process for Non-Conformity identification and reporting and implementing Corrective Action and identifying and implementing continuous improvement. Managing and overseeing all reviews, checking, testing, and inspection activities and personnel. Managing third-party testing agencies. Ensuring all materials or equipment received for the project operations meet the specified requirements for quality. Conducting the Private Partner management reviews on an annual basis and liaising on all quality matters with the Authority.
