ABOUT ANKUR BHATKALKAR

As a Video Pipeline Software Engineer at Coralbay.tv, I work on our cloud playout system, coralPlay. My day-to-day involves improving our video processing pipeline using C++ in a Linux environment. Currently, I’m focused on bringing UHD HDR support to the platform and handling complex broadcast data like subtitles and ancillary data. Before joining Coralbay, I worked across a few different industries. At Honeywell Forge, I developed automation tools using Python, C#.NET, and Docker. Before that, at Honeywell Intelligrated, I supported warehouse fulfilment systems using Linux, networking, and scripting (Perl, Bash) to help solve customer issues and manage hardware upgrades.A few things I bring to the team- Versatility: I’ve worked with several programming languages and enjoy picking up new ones to get things moving quickly- Linux & Cloud: I’m comfortable with core tech like Docker, and Bash, and I’m always happy to dive into new cloud platforms- Collaborative: I’m customer-driven and always ready to take on a challenge alongside a good team.I’m always open to a chat or a new collaboration—feel free to say hi!
