Working in microbial media quality control department in a UKAS accredited national food testing laboratory specializing in Microbiological, Nutritional, Allergen and Species testing on food, environmental, drinks and water samples. My roles include Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) auditing, developing audit reports, raising Quality Alerts (QA\'s), risk assessment, addressing root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, identifying and reporting non-conformance, communication with clients and suppliers w.r.t non-conformances, queries, supplier reviews and compliance to standard respectively, testing of Elective, Suppressive and Specific microorganisms on variety of prepared broth and agar microbial growth media, in addition to testing the sterility, volume, and pH of the prepared media, cell counting, updating records in LIMS, calibration, examination of temperature, humidity and normal working of the equipment’s, liaising with manager, housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness.
