ABOUT ANINDITA LAHA
I\'m a content writer, educator, and lawyer. I\'m passionate about driving impactful change through content leadership. I started my career by practicing in the Court of law. But as I was more interested in driving social change, in 2018 I co-founded an NGO with only 4 members, now 100 members strong. As I had a penchant for writing and social media, I took up handling its social media pages which generated almost 1 million tractions. I also have experience working with the government in the role of Centre Administrator in Sakhi OSC under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, I have managed stakeholders such as DLSA, DC, ADC, SP, and DSP to conduct rescue operations, investigations, and rehabilitation and shelter, and advocacy for survivors. I\'m a champion of women\'s rights. However seeing the rise of domestic violence during the pandemic I decided to change my course of career to a more pro-active capacity. I joined as a fellow in Teach For India wherein I taught around 300 students through digital learning courses and classroom practices. Realising that most of my students had long learning gaps during the pandemic I started a learning centre to bridge the gap in literacy. I took up curriculum designing for literacy and raised literacy levels by almost 50% in 7 months. Post my fellowship I joined Byjus wherein I got exposure to instructional designing where I wrote, reviewed, and managed content for civics. I also led and managed the production pipeline for civics, achieving up to 100% production output. Apart from these experiences, I\'m also a published writer in the book Singing Looms under PNRD Assam. I have picked up many skills in my colorful career. From legal writing to academic writing, from writing non-fiction to web content writing. From managing stakeholders to managing classrooms, from managing teams to managing production timelines. From kickstarting an organisation to leading projects. I have done it all. I love connecting with people, my friends tell me I\'m the person they like to talk to about their important life decisions. I enjoy painting, writing fiction, prose, and poetry. I love performing in open mics, and I sing a bit. I was interviewed by All India Radio for my work in my NGO, and I have also appeared in several regional news and papers for my outstanding work in Sakhi OSC.
