Chair Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee @Acta2 Alliance

As a volunteer with ACTA2 Alliance, I have taken on leadership roles that combine strategic planning, communications, and partnership building- Leadership & Strategy: As Chair of Fundraising and Chair of the Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee, I coordinate initiatives that bring together researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders. I design strategies to secure resources and support informed decision-making at both organizational and community levels- Communications & Outreach: I lead the Alliance’s communications strategy, managing multi-channel content across newsletters (Mailchimp), Facebook/Instagram (Meta Business Suite), Twitter, LinkedIn and Bluesky. My work includes developing campaigns, writing educational and awareness materials, and ensuring consistent engagement with both families and the medical community- Partnership Development: I represent ACTA2 Alliance in external collaborations, such as the Vascular Voice Network in the UK, helping to establish and grow cross-organizational initiatives. This role requires diplomacy, relationship-building, and the ability to align different stakeholders around a common goal.Through this work, I’ve strengthened skills in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, content creation, fundraising, and international collaboration, all while adapting to the fast-paced and resource-limited environment of a nonprofit organization.
