ABOUT ANGELA BOWMAN
I have been in healthcare HVAC/Plumbing industry for 21 years and have a passion for healthcare design and general construction. Throughout my career I have built lasting relationships with OSHPD representatives and multiple field staff while working in a collaborative environment to overcome unique challenges that each project presents. My immersion in the initial system design and its continued management during projects has eliminated field conflicts typical to complex system design by utilizing Lean principles and tools no matter the deliver method of a project. I am currently heavily involved in the LEAN construction and design process. It is a innovative frontier that the healthcare industry is embracing to better service our owners and clients. It is a design/construction tool that has been a great asset in eliminating many field conflicts and being able to coordinate with all trades. I currently sit on the LCI National Practice CoP and served as the Northern California CoP chair and have presented with Sutter Health at LCI Congress on topics such as Lean and Design-Build on Small Healthcare Projects. I have worked for Boldt who is a nationally recognized leader in Integrated Lean Project Delivery® within a variety of markets including healthcare, industrial, commercial and energy and power since 2015 where I currently lead the special projects group in Sacramento. I have managed projects anywhere from to In my current role I manage cost, schedule, document control, quality, OSHPD reviews, field logistics, field issues, owner commissioning, MEPF system installation, constructability reviews, project and owner reports, and overall technical engineering control for field operations.
