ABOUT ANGEL DUNN

As a talent acquisition leader with over a decade of experience in clinical, physician, and advanced practice provider (APP) recruitment, I’ve built a career on delivering results in high-volume, multi-site/hospital, complex healthcare environments. My passion lies in creating recruitment and retention strategies that not only meet immediate staffing needs but also support long-term organizational growth and patient care excellence. Currently, I lead provider and clinical talent acquisition for WellNow Urgent Care — overseeing a team of 25 and managing 1500+ annual requisitions across multiple service lines, including Urgent Care, Lab, Telehealth, and Occupational Medicine. From developing data-backed recruiting funnels, optimizing interview efficiency, implementing hiring programs and incentives, my work is rooted in solving recruitment challenges at scale while keeping the candidate experience at the center.Previously at WVU Medicine, I led recruitment, onboarding, and integration for physicians and APPs across multiple hospitals and specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Behavioral Health, Anesthesiology, Oncology, and more. I’ve successfully navigated everything from large-scale ED acquisitions, immigration support for international medical graduates, and implementing new recruiting strategies in rural areas to successfully meet needs of patients in the communities.
