I\'m a product engineering leader and CMI chartered manager with 25 years of experience building high performing teams and wildly popular products in startups, scaleups and corporate leadership including BBC Studios, Reach Plc, Mission Group and Hasbro Interactive.Over the last two decades, I\'ve overseen over 200 successful digital projects and led, mentored and supported more than 100 colleagues, many of whom have gone on to fill senior positions.My background is a varied mix of technical, creative and leadership with each informing the others. Working across multiple sectors and technologies, I\'ve worked on projects as varied as news and publishing apps, innovative archive interfaces, eCommerce products, Immersive Technology, museum installations and perhaps most notably - The Clangers: Interactive CD-Rom. 5 stars from The Times.For the first six months of 2025 I worked under contract at BBC Studios to help build high performing product engineering teams and manage change as they brought a multi-million pound project in-house.As Head of Engineering at Reach Plc inside the Emerging Products department, I put in place highly effective career development and performance management processes and created significant YoY improvements in cost effectiveness, operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.I describe myself as an entrepreneur but only when I have spell check enabled.
