ABOUT ANDY MULLIN
I am a budget aware senior HSSE and HSE managerial professional specialising in developing and implementing comprehensive programs to ensure health, safety and adverse environmental issues don’t impede and compromise operations on work sites. I have a strong record working in the oil and gas sector including the BP Angola Block 31 and the Total Nigeria EGINA projects, two of the world’s largest deep-water subsea oil and gas exploration engineering projects. I am highly proficient at all aspects of HSE management. This includes audits to ensure projects adhere to HSE requirements, risk assessments, HAZOPS, HAZID, legal compliance, behavioural safety and training on-site personnel to minimise workplace hazards. Culturally aware, adaptable and accustomed to working in multi-national environments with diverse personnel, I am adept at coordinating the activities of team members. Multi-lingual with English as my Mother tongue and conversational Portuguese, my exemplary communication skills, allied to wide expertise, enhance my ability to collaborate with contractors, manage multi-national teams, liaise with local officials and build sustainable working relationships.
