ABOUT ANDY GRIFFITHS

Experienced Executive Director with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. I am a proven leader, comfortable with ambiguity, flexible in my approach, and able to provide clarity and focus to all stakeholders. I am an excellent communicator and bring over 12 years of experience in a leadership role, whilst driving forward sports participation and engagement levels.I have a natural ability to inspire, develop and motivate others, and the leadership skills to develop, grow and stretch the teams that I lead. I focus on the individuals within the team to enable them to thrive within their environment whilst keeping a clear focus on results and outcomes.I am also able to demonstrate past experience of developing and maintaining strategic relationships with external partners and generating income for specific areas of the business.Completed a Sky Dive and raised for Cancer Research.Organised 3 charity football matches which raised for Macmillan Cancer Support and for Heart of Kent Hospice.Volunteered for Cricket Without Boundaries and spent 18 days in Kenya coaching cricket to children from orphanages and small villages. I even got to assist in the delivery of a Level 2 coaching course to the Kenyan National Cricket team.I also flew an acrobatic aeroplane at Redhill for fun!In my spare time I enjoy running and playing cricket as well as days out with the family!
