Restructuring consultant for Thameswey Ltd and Victoria Square Woking Ltd - 2 distressed subsidiaries of Woking Council. The Council had issued a section 114 notice (effective bankruptcy)- I wrote the business plans to sell c£500m of assets from the companies. This covered a 1,400 residential real estate company (s£250m) and a complex mix used (Resi, hotels, retail) town centre development- I also wrote several options appraisal papers looking at the various options open to sell the assets- I advised on divestment strategy and recommended not to sell Thameswey Energy Ltd as its sale has a larger detrimental impact on other assets than it was worth alone- I wrote the corporate procurement policy, focusing on identifying different procurement strategies for different types of procurement.
