It’s hard to put into words what FCA has truly done for me, but I know it’s been God working through it. As the youngest of four, leadership didn’t always come naturally. I grew up hearing, “Don’t be a follower; be a leader.” When I started following Christ for myself during the spring of my freshman year, I changed, but FCA, my senior year, is what truly taught me how to lead people toward Him.Through FCA, God taught me that leadership isn’t about “selling” something; it’s about being genuine, being present, and being the Bible people read, even if they never step into a meeting. I learned to care deeply for others, to invite boldly, and to guide with humility and consistency.I’m incredibly grateful for the team I lead with. Each person’s unique gifts sharpened the others, and watching God use all of us together this year has been a blessing. A huge shoutout to Nick, our FCA Connecticut director, for always supporting us and supplying more Bibles than I can count as our ministry grew. By God’s grace, our first-year club saw 100+ students at multiple meetings, something truly remarkable.FCA didn’t just help me become a leader; it helped me become the kind of leader who points people to Christ.
