I am a commercial manager operating predominantly within procurement and supply chain management with experience across several industry sectors. Over the past 18 years I have focused on the metals sector. I currently work for C.W.Fletcher & Sons Ltd, specialising in the sourcing and procurement of a wide range of steels and forged products released to aerospace industry approved standards.My earlier career was spent within the glass manufacturing sector involving the procurement of a broad range of products and services ranging from raw material / minerals through to energy procurement. I have also spent time working within the renewable energy sector with procurement responsibility for multi operational sites. I recognise the commercial value that effective procurement can add to a business, supported by strong supplier relationships that provide sustainable supply solutions to global markets. I am member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply having qualified with the CIPS diploma.
