ABOUT ANDREW BRODERICK
Currently a clinician at Howard Head Sports Medicine based out of Vail, Colorado. I completed my DPT at the University of Iowa and my sports residency training at the University of Wisconsin (UW Health) where I had research involvement through Badger Athletic Performance (BAP). I have a strong background treating a variety of sports related injuries with a specific clinical and research focus emphasizing restoration of quadriceps neuromuscular performance following knee joint injuries. In addition, I have a strong clinical focus of optimizing strength and power qualities while progressing plyometric/impact demands based on needs of sport utilizing a data-driven approach. In addition to clinical roles, I currently lead or provide service in- Integration of VALD force plates into organization\'s RTS programming- Guest lectures with content related to optimizing post-operative knee rehabilitation and programming based on force-time trace profiles- Medical bike fits (road)- Running analyses- Serve as a knee and shoulder didactic/lab mentor within HHSM OCS and SCS residency programs- International event coverage for US Snowboard team (SBX)- Mentor in AASPT College and Pro Sports SIG.
