ABOUT ANDREW RENDALL
I am a GP currently working in an NHS practice in Sussex. I am also studying for an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine at University of Bath, which I began in September 2023 and expect to finish in September 2026. This is an area that I am passionate about and want to pursue in my future career.My interest in sports medicine stems from my personal experiences as a doctor, athlete, and coach. I have represented Great Britain in canoe slalom and triathlon, competed in the ITU world championships, and completed an ironman triathlon. I have also been involved in the world class start programme, the Talented Athlete Scholarship Programme, and the Newcastle University elite athlete programme. Through these activities, I have learned the importance of a progressive and prevention-focused approach to healthcare, which I intend to apply and promote in my practice. I have also gained valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and communication, which I use to collaborate with and support my colleagues and patients.
