ABOUT ANDREW MARTIN
I love spending time with my family, especially outside. My wife, Susan and I love take hikes, go to the beach and walk with our dogs Mamba and Shaq. I am a swimmer and runner, who loves to take photos during my runs. We love to get out and watch our boys play soccer, but our favorite time together is spent at Sunset Beach. Graduated in 1997 from NCSU and began working in banking. I spent 11 years in banking and was afforded the opportunity to work in Operations, Lending, Management and Audit. After 11 years I decided to make a change and found an opportunity at the Kerr Family YMCA as an Aquatics Director. I have spent 11+ years at the YMCA of the Triangle and have working in Aquatics, Membership, Operations, Wellness, Group Fitness and Fund Raising, but the greatest joy comes from the daily interactions and being able to serve the members and our community.I am an experienced Senior Director with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Coaching, Conflict Resolution, Event Management, and Team Building. Strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Natural Resources and Conservation from North Carolina State University.
