ABOUT ANDREW LYNCH

Andrew is a Chartered Engineer within the IET specialising as a Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) in the Railway Electrification and Plant (E&P) discipline and is the Head of Discipline for the Jacobs UK E&P team.Andrew manages three design offices responsible for providing technical leadership, staff utilisation and pricing new work. He is also responsible for reviewing the competency of the team and putting into place training and development plans. He has aided in the growth and retention of staff to meet the business needs, works with other sectors within the company to cross-sell project work and staff placements. Andrew has undertaken design and installation associated with all forms of railway electrical and plant systems including MV 25kV/11kV, LV distribution, signalling power, Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and specialist supplies, points heating, SCADA, tunnel systems, stations, depots, telecoms power, earthing and bonding, EMC, Motorised Switch/Circuit Main Earth (MOS & CME) and lighting. Andrew has experience in building services electrical design including distribution, indoor lighting, small power and cable management systems. He has experience in project engineering, management, and design of several large multi discipline projects.
