Leadership for Facilities, EHS and Security Departments within a 23 acre manufacturing and design office facility which employs 300+ people and operates 24/7/365. Report directly to the Managing Director and a member of the Site Leadership Team with total responsibility for the UK sites hard and soft services, environmental, health and safety, security, energy and utilities management, facilities project management and have input into all site strategic and operational decisions. Manage, direct, plan, organise and control the activities of the Facilities and EHS Groups with a £9M operational budget along with annual multi-million pound capital projects. Facilities Group includes mechanical / electrical / controls / total gas and chemical management engineering groups, in-house plant maintenance department, estates management, cleaning, catering services, outsourced facilities management groups and wide diversity of vendors. Hard Services responsibilities include compressed air plant, ultra pure water plant, refrigeration plant, industrial and domestic; heating and air conditioning; refrigeration; steam and hot water boiler plant; vacuum; compressed air; sprinkler / CO2 suppression systems; water treatment; high voltage and low voltage infrastructure; building energy management system, life safety / loss prevention systems including fire protection and gas detection systems. Responsible for management of the sites Emergency Response Team, Infrastructure Business Continuity Programme and Crisis Management, Site Loss Prevention Performance and Continuous Improvements, Site Incident Commander for unanticipated events, Facilities Systems FMEA’s, Reliability Toolbox, Drive to Zero Human Error System Interrupts Programme to prevent / reduce unanticipated events and have effective business plans in place to quickly recover from events. Member of the sites capital, education and training review boards.
