Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, I am responsible for Occupational Health and Safety and Workers Compensation Systems Management across the country. Like everyone else I am supporting our front line staff with working safely during Covid-19. Surprisingly I still have most of my hair, but the sanity is gone. I am also representing Bayshore and Bayshore workers in various committees and client specific meetings with our funders to balance worker safety along with the safety of our clients.

ABOUT ANDREW ANDERSON
I believe employers and workers can have a safe workplace and be profitable at the same time. I know this because I have done it in manufacturing, logistics and health care environments from bumpers to bedpans. I have led and focused teams of health and safety professionals in standardizing programs and consulting at all levels within an organization. Currently I am focusing efforts in health and safety for managers and workers with Bayshore HealthCare an industry leading Canada wide private sector healthcare provider. I have managed and had the privilege to help change safety cultures with unionized and non-unionized environments across Canada in both the industrial and healthcare sectors. I work hard to demystify the dogma out of safety; if it is simple it works. My results with workers compensation management show an impact to the bottom line that also focuses on care of the injured employee. I am well rounded with experience in managing environmental matters, facility selection and risk management as well as understanding various Safety Management Systems and American OSHA and D.O.T. requirements. Driving a Mini is not a matter of life and death. It is far more important than that.
