BYLOR is a joint venture between Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O\'Rourke, responsible for delivering the main civil engineering works for Hinkley Point C (HPC), valued at over £2.8 billion. This partnership is a unique approach to project delivery, combining the expertise of two leading specialists to drive innovation and meet challenges head-on, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. HPC is one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Europe, with a construction timeline spanning over 10 years. Once operational, the plant will generate 3.2 gigawatts of power, supplying 7% of the UK\'s electricity and providing energy to over 5 million homes.In collaboration with the Project Director, the BYLOR leadership team, and various senior stakeholders, both within and outside this complex project, I am responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy. My focus is on engaging and informing both office-based employees and our extensive deskless workforce, ensuring everyone stays aligned and motivated. Our efforts are crucial in driving the UK\'s bold transition toward a low-carbon future, enhancing energy security, and creating thousands of jobs, signifying a transformative shift in the nation\'s approach to sustainable energy.
