What is it that I do? Product design is the art of storytelling. A good story resonates with both customers and stakeholders. The ultimate metrics for good design are customer satisfaction and business success. After having worked with applications for more than 20 years, I have learned that designing digital products revolves around the science of creating a touchpoint between end users and businesses. To succeed in that science we have to apply rigorous research, deep business understanding, agile iteration and customer feedback.I thrive when requirements are fluid, strategy is still emerging and pressure is high - which at times allows me to \'create magic from nothing\' by bringing clarity to ambiguity, as an SVP once told me. When critical moments arise I manage to engage design teams and stakeholders across product and engineering to strive for a more impactful delivery. One step at a time. One delighted user at a time.I have lived in Berlin, London, Barcelona, and Munich. I spent the first decade of my career founding and leading a design agency and a digital startup in Germany, worked 4 years for a UK-based higher education company, and 8 years for San Francisco-based tech leader New Relic.
