ABOUT TOBY MINTON
I’ve been telling stories in one form or another since I could form words. Ask my mother—patience of a saint, that one. She once listened to me describe an entire movie scene-by-scene. OK, more than once.For me writing is unavoidable—it’s who I am. Living one life just isn’t enough. I have to create new ones constantly, to see and feel the world through countless eyes. That’s why I write books, obviously, but it’s also why I’m in UX. User experience is all about empathizing enough to see the world as other people see it in order to make their lives better. You can’t do the second part without the first, which is why I love it.I’m currently championing users as both writer and designer.
