ABOUT ANDREA FRUHLING

Career and Organizational Coach, helping people tap into creative thinking in order to increase hope and have more effective conversations. Through innovative approaches to career conversations and team development processes, Andrea works across disciplines, delivering programs and developing resources for leaders and coaches to apply to their daily work. She helps people find engaging ways to support growth and increase individual and collective hopefulness, using the Hope-Action Theory as a foundational model in the work she does.Andrea is a Certified Organizational Coach, with the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She teaches and supervises learner coaches seeking certification, and is the lead instructor for the Career Coaching Masterclass at the University of British Columbia. Andrea is the developer and an instructor of the Certification in Hope-Action Theory & Practice course, and has taught and certified learners all over the world. She leads the International Coaching Federation’s Global Career Coaching Community of Practice and is a Trained Facilitator in the LEGO® Serious Play® Method and Materials.Andrea has delivered numerous keynote presentations and workshops for national and international conferences, career development associations, and organizations. She works with a broad range of client groups, including teams and large organizations, as well as youth, indigenous communities, and schools.
