ABOUT ANDREA LANGKAMER-SMITH

These past several years have been challenging for so many people. I’ve been heartbroken watching so many jobs disappear overnight – especially seeing the struggles of musicians, artists, dancers, theater professionals, as well as all the supporting people such as stage technicians, costume designers, lighting professionals….the list goes on and on. As a singer, voice teacher and church musician, I love what I do and take pride in sharing my musical gifts with others. It’s a career path I chose because I followed my heart, despite my high school guidance counselor trying to talk me out of it and telling me I had better marry someone who could support me because I had no hope of supporting myself as a musician! I followed my heart anyway, and even though he was partially right that I wouldn\'t find financial security through my numerous teaching jobs and other music gigs, I have never once regretted my choice to be a musician. Today I feel I have the best of both, because I have found a better way to a life where I can thrive! I’m immensely grateful that I was offered an opportunity to align with a holistic health and wellness company – and that even though it was scary and way outside of my comfort zone and skills set, I said YES! These days I get to make music without having to worry about finding work to support myself and my family financially. I have flexibility of my own time and am my own boss. I’m a self-made business owner with a passion for helping other people. It makes my heart sing to have something to offer people who are looking for work or wanting to make a change. I’m looking for people who have a heart to help others and who want to be in control of their own time.
