At Travelers our expertise in Risk Control is delivered through more than 600 professionals, most of whom are engineers and industry specialists. Our Risk Control unit is fully integrated with our business and is a strategic service offering and a market differentiator, influencing and supporting the entire life cycle of our Business Insurance accounts. This function has strong interface with Underwriting, Claim, Customers, and many other enterprise stakeholders. Our Field Services team is a geographically dispersed group of Risk Control Consultants and the largest organization in Risk Control. Field Services works with many business units at Travelers, with the majority of their focus on Commercial Middle Market (including Technology) accounts. They complete risk surveys, which we leverage for risk mitigation, selection and pricing. They assess risk across multiple lines, and work in collaboration with our Underwriting Account Executives to select, retain, and provide service to these accounts.
