I am responsible for the strategy and management of the underwriting process in the Commercial Insurance Business Unit for the South Central Region, with a premium volume of over I report to the Regional Vice President and work closely with the National Underwriting Officer and Business Development Director to ensure that the underwriting results enhance the overall profitability, growth, and retention of business, and is consistent with all related underwriting initiatives. I identify trends and emerging issues, monitor underwriting results, and partner with field and corporate management to influence others to take action as needed. I work with a team of four Regional Underwriting Officers.
