ABOUT ANDRE GIANNOTTA
Currently studying Actuarial Mathematics with minors in Economics and Business at the University of Pittsburgh, set to graduate in April 2026. As an aspiring actuary, I am striving for FSA certification. I have passed Exams P, FM, SRM, and FAM. I plan to sit for ALTAM this April.Through prior internship experience, I have developed strong analytical and computational skills as well as the flexibility needed to adapt to new environments and learn new concepts quickly. Furthermore, I have refined my technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and programming languages, all foundational in the actuarial world.To supplement these skills, I have been accepted into and assumed leadership roles at selective organizations at Pitt. As the Head of Oversight for Pittsburgh Management Consulting, I have the opportunity to work with multiple Fortune 500 companies and to deliver material to Managing Directors, Executives, and even CEO’s. Additionally, the Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio, a student organization managing ~1.3 million dollars in assets, has allowed me to deepen my understanding of investments, which, at any given firm, works in tandem with the actuarial department.Having completed two internships in the field, I am very passionate about actuarial work and would love to talk with anyone who feels the same.
