Hello, I’m Ananya! I’m a 16 year-old driven by a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact on the world. My passion for law, finance, and leadership motivates me to embrace challenges that allow me to grow and contribute positively to my community. In my roles as Director of Finance for the Mississauga Youth Action Committee (MYAC), General Executive for the International Humanitarian Peel Youth Council (IHPYC), and Director of Records/Finance for Model Parliament at St. Francis Xavier, I’ve developed a strong foundation in managing financial responsibilities, maintaining organizational records, and leading initiatives that drive change. As a MYAC Ambassador, and now Director of Finance, I have the privilege of representing over youths in our city, engaging in community advocacy and amplifying the voices of my peers. Additionally, as a U-Report Ambassador at UNICEF, I’m dedicated to spreading awareness of global issues and promoting the voices and stories of vulnerable communities. These experiences have strengthened my analytical and organizational skills while deepening my understanding of strategic planning and effective communication—essential for my future career in corporate law. Beyond my leadership roles, I’m actively involved in sports, including cross country, track & field, curling, badminton, and swimming. Volunteering as an ice skating and swimming assistant instructor has allowed me to combine my love for sports with my passion for mentorship, furthering my commitment to community engagement and personal growth.
