ABOUT ANA HALANGAU
I work as an Overhead Line Equipment CRE (Principal Engineer level) with 13 years of experience in railway and urban public transport overhead line equipment design and traction power modelling. I have knowledge in both mechanical and electrical fields, being able to design overhead contact lines and do traction power supply modelling. I am also experienced in asset management and evaluation of infrastructure components for tramway networks.I undertook a 3 year Ph.D. study program focusing on traction power modelling and energy savings. Between 2008 and 2014, I successfully designed and supervised some of the most important modernization projects of tram and trolleybus lines in Bucharest and other Romanian cities. In the Uk, I was part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade West of Leeds (Transpire Alliance) as OLE CRE delivering the GRIP3 and 4 electrification design for Huddersfield to Ravensthorpe area.I am reliable, independent and always up for a new challenge.
