Environmental Policy Director @Swinomish Indian Tribal Community

The Swinomish Tribe is a sovereign tribal nation that is a signatory to the 1855 Treaty of Point Elliott and has Treaty fishing and hunting rights throughout the Salish Sea and Skagit River basin. As Environmental Policy Director, I provide technical and policy advice to tribal leaders on aquatic, terrestrial and marine habitat issues throughout our Treaty protected area, and advance habitat restoration and protection priorities by working with numerous federal, tribal, state and local policy leaders and forums. I joined the Swinomish Tribe on March 1, 2018 as the Environmental Policy Analyst, and became Environmental Policy Director on August 1, 2019.
