Accountable for benefits and retirement programs across Canada and Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica). Key impacts & accomplishments:* Assessed impact of divestiture of employees in Canada, Brazil, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico to ensure benefits offer from acquiring company was equivalent (in my first month at OT!). Impacted 100+ employees and involved employees moving as part of both asset and share deals, as well as related entity transfers and the downstream impacts.* Harmonized benefits in Brazil to bring employees across three entities into a single plan for health, dental and life insurance, as well as programs like meal vouchers, day care aid, and transportation vouchers. Impacted 200 employees and required navigation of transferring 10 of them between pension plans. Achieved in my first 3 months at OT.* Managing plan renewals in Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico impacting employees. Stay tuned - more harmonization work is underway as well as moving the needle on employee engagement and the ED & I support built into our plans!
