ABOUT AMY O.
I am currently working as a Film Maker at Dyson. I am involved in creating films for social media and internal/external comms. This involves filming, directing, editing and interviewing. I am currently editing and colour grading in Adobe Premiere Pro and editing audio in Adobe Audition. As well as using Adobe After Effects to support my work.I have a first-class degree in Journalism from the University of Gloucestershire and a distinction in my Communications, PR and Media masters degree. I have a passion for content creation, with specialist knowledge in video production and editing. My editing knowledge consists of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition and Adobe After Effects. I also have experience filming with a range of cameras. I enjoy all aspects of video, from creating the initial idea, filming, presenting, editing and seeing it through all the way to release. I have a range of work experience from managing and creating content for social media accounts, freelancing for BBC Radio Stoke as a breakfast reporter and taking on work experience at EDF as a videographer. During my master\'s, I also worked as a Graduate Assistant Technician in the Media School at the University of Gloucestershire. This role involved supporting students with a range of software and equipment. I have achieved 100wpm in Teeline Shorthand and have since taught shorthand sessions to the current undergraduates on the journalism course at the University of Gloucestershire.
