ABOUT AMY CONRAD
As Volta’s Senior Events Manager, I lead the strategy, planning, and execution of impactful events for Atlantic Canada’s thriving tech and innovation community. My work spans everything from managing intricate logistics to creating dynamic experiences that connect, and support our community of founders, leaders, and industry professionals. From an early age, I discovered a love for crafting memorable experiences, driven by the positive influence events can have on their attendees. With 15+ years of experience in the event industry, including my foundation in Tourism Management from NSCC’s Lunenburg Campus, I bring a deep understanding of both large and small-scale event management across diverse settings, including hotels, restaurants, and event spaces. My efforts to drive inclusivity and innovation in the event space have earned me nominations for the Changemaker Award at the Digital Diversity Awards (2020, 2021), and I was honored to be featured in Amplify East (June 2021). I’m passionate about creating events that resonate, foster community, and elevate the experiences of everyone who walks through Volta’s doors.
