ABOUT AMY BUFTON

As a motivated and organised individual, I endeavour to deliver a high working standard within expeditious and dynamic working environments, as I strive for a career in the evolving fashion marketing sector.I am currently in the final year of my degree studies, as an undergraduate student on the Fashion Marketing and Communications course at the Fashion Retail Academy. I hope that upon completion of my degree, I can translate my knowledge and understanding, acquired throughout the course, alongside my personal skill set, to secure a role within the brand marketing and image realm of the industry.Alongside my degree, I am currently studying an additional diploma certificate, with French luxury conglomerate, LVMH. Through this course, I aim to develop further understanding of business management and marketing strategies, with insights specific to the premium market.In addition to my studies, I currently work for retailer River Island, in the roles of sales advisor and my locations responsible person. Previous to this position,| worked as a Stylist for an eveningwear and bridal company. My three-year experience in the retail field, has enabled me to attain life-long professional skills, including adaptability, communication, collaborative working and customer service.I am ambitious and unequivocally committed, to progressing my knowledge of the fashion industry, via my education, in preparation for my post-graduate career in the field. I am also extremely excited about the potential future opportunities and prospects of a role in fashion marketing and public relations. Due to these aspirations, I am eager to connect with industry professionals, to increase my exposure to career inspiration and grow my network.
