As a Senior Technology Executive and Product Leader, Amit Tank enjoys building business and product opportunities for Fortune 500 customers at the intersection of Media, Entertainment, Live Sports, Ad Tech, Cloud, DAI, and Generative AI / ML on AWS, Azure and GCP. Amit has led high-impact teams to create significant value for organizations and millions of their customers by unlocking new growth opportunities, and by growing product portfolio revenue and adoption.In recent years, Amit Tank has led high-impact product and architecture teams (with direct and indirect reports) at AT & T DirecTV and was responsible for helping design, build, and launch the AT & T DirecTV Stream Live Streaming OTT Product with Cloud DVR. Amit and his team helped create the OpenVideo Platform powering these products. And drove key strategic initiatives and NDA projects by building consensus with multiple Orgs, and defining and driving product MVPs to launch.Amit also helped led and drove the transformation of AT & T DirecTV from legacy monolithic vendor-locked systems towards a Cloud-native, microservice-based, composable, containerized, k8s-based scalable product platform and technology stack and technology strategy. Since its launch, the AT & T DirecTV Stream Live OTT service has rapidly gained millions of paid customers with innovative features, superior video streaming quality, attractive Live Sports bundles, its 1200+ live OTT channels, and hundreds of thousands of VOD assets powered on all major platforms and devices, including Apple TV and devices, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV and devices, and other miscellaneous consumer TV platforms.In prior years, Amit has helped large Tech, Telco and Media, Financial, and Enterprise organizations like Facebook, Amazon, Citi, Comcast, MVPDs, Verizon, Cisco, EMC etc. in building and launching high-value products and features with USD 1 Billion+ ARR, while creating tremendous value for the large customer base.
