I am responsible for the monitoring and strategic on-page optimisation of product, category and content pages across the Nisbets group websites to boost keyword ranking positions, drive organic traffic, reduce bounce rates, increase avg. time on page and ultimately grow organic sales and revenue per visit.To use insight and analytics to identify opportunities for new landing pages and content, highlight and address underperforming pages, boost traffic to high-converting commercial pages.Keeping up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates, you will ensure Nisbets’ sites are always adhering to best on-page practice, and identify new SEO techniques which can be used across our domainsKey Accountabilities- Carry out keyword research and SERP analysis, using this data to then create or re-optimize content for high-priority product, category and static pages.Conduct ranking drop analysis and carry out improvements to content, metadata and internal linking to address declines in ranking position and traffic- Lead the SEO content plan, create long-form content to target popular search queries, build brand awareness, drive traffic, and give potential customers the information required to make an informed purchase- Identify opportunities for new landing pages in Nisbets’ taxonomies, and work in conjunction with the relevant Web Content Writers and Merchandisers to action these updates. Analyze and report on post-optimization performance metrics, and present findings to all key stakeholders- Work alongside the GHoDA to identify and create new reports to uncover actionable insights into Nisbets’ organic performance and site health- Liaise with group offices and content team members to ensure continuity of Best Practice and output across all the group websites
