ABOUT AMELIA CEBALLOS

Amelia Ceballos began her role as Social Media Specialist at the Museum of Science, Boston, in June. She supports the Social Team by creating and editing copy, performing caption reviews, scheduling daily content, and conducting platform research to enhance strategy. Additionally, she plans, designs, and schedules picture posts for the museum’s social media accounts under the guidance of her manager. Before this, Amelia has held roles as the Digital Marketing Manager at Nationwide Foam Recycling, as well as the Summer and Fall 2024 TikTok Intern at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM), where her daily postings led to a 368% increase in video views, a 702% increase in likes, and a 308% increase in comments on PEM’s TikTok account. As an undergraduate, Amelia was a member of a research team within the Art History department on UMass Amherst campus. The objective of the team was to research American landscape architecture, and Amelia’s role was to focus on the political outcomes of these findings. She was the Social Media Manager for the project,\"Sustainable EweMass\", and led all digital marketing efforts. Prior to this, Amelia was a Legislative & Public Affairs Aide for the Legislative and Public Affairs team at the Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC, where she assisted in monitoring TweetDeck, and creating content for the Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.Amelia completed her undergraduate degree in both Art History and Political Science (B.A.) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is passionate about the art she creates, and enjoys cooking, European Art, and learning the Italian language.
