ABOUT AMAR GHARIAL

Currently working in Management and Operations consulting with a proven track record leading improvement projects across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, refining and recycling, automotive, etc. My primary specializations are on increasing process efficiency, increasing operational margins, large scale process transformation, and productivity improvement. As an engineer who now works in operations and strategy, I utilize a data driven decision making approach coupled with an intimate technical knowledge of the product or problem being improved to drive impact for the businesses we partner with. Before working in consulting, I built my technical skills and nurtured my passion for engineering by working for multiple years in R&D (polymers and coatings), academic research (microfluidics), and software development. As I progress in my career, my goals are to continue to grow, and utilize my skillset to drive change and impact in areas that are close to my heart. Sustainability, commercialization of novel technology, the social good, and the economic empowerment of marginalized groups are my main passions. I\'m always open to new opportunities and am always looking for mentors. Conversely, I would love to offer advice or guidance if you think I have something to offer.
