ABOUT AMAN DHILLON
I\'m a data analyst and machine learning practitioner focused on building solutions that drive informed decision-making and equitable outcomes.Currently, I lead data analytics for UC San Diego\'s Associated Students: Office of Student Organizations, where I develop financial forecasting models to predict student organization spending patterns and inform resource allocation decisions across campus. Previously in this role, I analyzed engagement data across students to identify outreach gaps and optimize AS programming strategy. My work translates complex datasets into actionable insights that guide strategic planning and budget decisions for university leadership.I built analytics infrastructure and NL2SQL systems as a Machine Learning Engineering Intern at Genios AI, optimizing debugging workflows and enabling natural language database querying. I was also selected as one of 219 fellows (from 2,600+ applicants) for the Google x Basta B-SWEP program, where I strengthened my systems design and technical problem-solving skills through mentorship from Google engineers.I\'m drawn to projects at the intersection of technology and social impact, whether that\'s predicting organizational spending patterns, analyzing voting trends through consumer data, or building tools that make information more accessible. I thrive in environments where data tells a story and where that story drives real change.I\'m pursuing my B.S. in Computer Science at UC San Diego as a Regents Scholar and actively seeking opportunities in data analytics, machine learning engineering, and applied AI where I can contribute to meaningful work and continue growing as a technical professional.
