Dedicated and Innovative Software Engineer with a Bachelor\'s in Software EngineeringHi! My name is Amani and I am a software engineer with an interest in backend development and machine learning. I have strong programming and problem solving skills, as proven in my completion of many projects and participation in coding competitions. The first language I learned was Java, back in high school, and I fell in love with coding and its endless possibilities. This is why I pursed a degree in software engineering. Throughout my academic, project, and internship experience, I have honed my coding skills and worked with various frameworks and technologies. To highlight some, the languages I am proficient in are Python, Java, C, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Frameworks include Django, Vue.js, Spring Boot. I am also familiar with applied machine learning techniques and recently won first place at the Quebec Computer Science Games, a multi-university competition, in the machine learning challenge. I am quick to learn new languages and technologies, and am always open to expanding my knowledge and skill set.
