ABOUT AMANDA ROY
Hello my name is Amanda Roy and I am a senior finance student at the University of Maryland. I was born in Edgewater Maryland and I attended St. Mary\'s high school, where I was able to further develop my academics and my Catholic faith. Growing up I was heavily involved in sports and I believe that is where I got my drive and competitive spirit. This past summer I had a Finance internship at a nonprofit called The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. I was on a team who worked to raise money and organize their finances. I learned many skills through this internship and my life experiences like how to work on a professional team, valuable time management skills, and a strong work ethic. When I graduate in 2025 I hope to pursue a career in finance.
