As the leader of the Houston Texans’ community relations efforts and the Houston Texans Foundation, I work with ownership and leadership to strengthen our brand and impact across the Greater Houston area. My focus is on creating and executing community programs, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving fundraising initiatives to maximize our philanthropic impact.Key responsibilities include:• Partnerships & Community Engagement: Expanding relationships with current and future community partners to build sustainable collaborations.• Strategic Leadership: Developing and executing community strategies alongside the corporate team, community organizations, and NFL leadership.• NFL & Texans Initiatives: Leading programs like Salute to Service, Crucial Catch, and Inspire Change, while managing unique club initiatives such as Small Business Boost, and the B.O.L.D. Awards• Youth Football Development: Expanding the Texans’ youth football footprint and providing access to students throughout Houston. Leading efforts to promote and sanction Girls Flag Football in Texas, increasing participation and visibility for the sport.• Foundation Oversight: Managing the P&L of the Houston Texans Foundation, ensuring effective fundraising and financial contributions back to the community.• Fundraising & Revenue Generation: Driving signature events like Season Premiere, Taste of the Texans, Charity Golf Classic, and various gameday auctions.• Grant Strategy: Leading grant writing efforts and developing strategies to secure funding for community programs.• Leadership & Governance: Serving on the Board of Directors to guide strategic planning, oversight, and governance of the Foundation.My goal is to continue building the Texans’ legacy as a community-driven brand while improving the lives of Houstonians through impactful programs, including expanding youth football opportunities and fostering the growth of Girls Flag Football in Texas.
