ABOUT AMANDA DAVIS
An experienced Quantity Surveyor with several years of working within many different construction sectors such as Roofing and Cladding, Facilities Management and Civil Engineering.Currently I am working for Mackenzie Construction as a Project Quantity Surveyor and working on the Scottish Water and Scottish Canal frameworks. My main duties are carrying out the monthly tasks of commercial reporting, monthly applications, subcontract orders, payments, accruals, managing/submitting early warnings and compensation events, final accounting, attending site visits and general liaising with the client and subcontractors etc. I also manage several members of the team such as a Quantity Surveyor and Assistant Quantity providing support when needed.I currently have my BSc Hons Quantity Surveying Degree (First Class) achieved from Glasgow Caledonian University and my Project Management course achieved from Robert Gordon University.My personal skills include; being highly motivated and driven person in every aspect of my career; being highly organised and taking pride in my work with excellent attention to detail; a reliable person and flexible if required; an excellent communicator at all levels; having the ability to problem solve quickly and have an analytical approach; I am also a strong and positive person that copes well under pressure.
