Being the technical point-of-contact, working in partnership with the sales team, partners & vendors, to ensure that the most optimal solutions are provided to new/existing customers. Having knowledge of process, tools & techniques for responding to customer proposals (RFP,RFQ, RFI). Moving into understanding and developing architecture designs, creating Bill Of Materials (BoM) & assisting in the implementation/integration specifications for next-generation networks. Building and developing strong professional relationships with customers & partners is a pivotal role here. Technical skills which are beneficial to this position are: Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Campus, DC, Security & Cloud services. Campus network design (e.g. access, distribution & core/collapsed core). DC network design (e.g. EVPN/VXLAN, Clos & underlay fabric).
