ABOUT AMANDA CAFFEY
I am fascinated with outer space, inspired by people who help others and passionate about creating accepting and inclusive environments for everyone. Unfortunately, I did not pursue my childhood dream job of becoming an astronaut so, until civilians can vacation to the moon, I’ll be staring at the stars from Earth. I turned to another passion – inspiring people. I love finding unique ways to showcase stories of athletes, organizations and community members stepping up to help and inspire their communities.I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and another in Citizenship and Civic Engagement. I moved back to Houston where I worked as a job coach for high school students with disabilities before starting my career with the Houston Texans and now the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
