ABOUT AMAL RIDENE
Amal is a Climate Finance professional working closely on the Adaptation and Resilience Finance, and Youth Engagement in Climate. She currently serves as an Adaptation and Resilience Analyst, at Cadlas, an adaptation and rsilience consultancy.She holds a Sustainable Development MSc degree (distinction - top 5%) from the Science Policy Research Unit of Sussex Business School, as a Chevening scholar. Prior to that, she served as an Investor Engagement Officer at the AfricInvest Group, a leading pan-African private equity firm, where she supported fundraising for multiple strategies, due diligence missions, internal and external communication, investor relations, and events organisation, as well as climate-related initiatives.She has been of the « Tunisian Young Climate Change Negotiators » and a Party Delegate in COP26 COP27, and COP28 the UN’s Climate Change Conference, leading the team of Climate Finance. Amal holds several volunteering positions, being a former board member of World Scouting, where she served as a Youth Advisor between 2017 and 2021, led the “World Events” workstream co-lead, and was appointed as a chair to the 43rd World Scout Conference 2024. Besides that, she is a UNICEF Generation Unlimited YPAT alumna, a GFANZ advisory panel member, RIVET board member, a Tunisian Scout lead volunteer, and the World Economic Forum Global Shapers’ Tunis Hub outgoing Curator.https://linktr.ee/amalridene
