ABOUT ALYSSA PARSONS
As a former Division 1 basketball player and 3x Captain at Rider University, Alyssa Parsons knew what it meant to be a fierce competitor on the court. When it came time to lead, she struggled on how to communicate to teammates and build trust off the court. After her basketball career ended, she felt like her passion was left on the court. After college, she went on to become an accountant, but moving up the ladder quickly wasn\'t fulfilling enough, so she volunteered as an AAU girls basketball coach. Constantly seeking her next achievement, Alyssa went on to graduate from Drexel University with a dual JD/MBA degree, where after graduation, she fell into investment banking. Alyssa quickly realized that she still hadn\'t found that passion she lost after playing. Through the support of her career coach, she learned that she had been searching for her passion in other \"things\" instead of searching within herself. Once she made the inward search, she began connecting back to her value system and, in turn, connecting back to that passion she left behind - sports and helping others. Alyssa started Athelite Evolution to partner with the athlete who is struggling to find the confidence within themselves and assure them that passion does not have to end when their sport does.
