ABOUT MEEAE OH-RANCK

As a Graduate Teaching Administrator at the Total Experience Learning® Institute at Alvernia University, I am deeply committed to transformative education that bridges innovation, sustainability, and ethical practices. My work extends beyond traditional teaching—I actively engage with K-12 educators and students to cultivate experiential learning methodologies that foster critical thinking and hands-on problem-solving.My research in the fashion and textile industry focuses on addressing global challenges in sustainability and ethical practices, with a particular emphasis on alternative materials such as mushroom leather, natural dyeing, upcycled textiles, and circular fashion systems. By integrating STEAM education, environmental science, and design, I strive to inspire the next generation of designers and changemakers to rethink the lifecycle of materials and adopt responsible practices in the industry.Additionally, I lead projects that bridge academia, industry, and community initiatives, including workforce development planning in sewing manufacturing and curriculum development for eco-conscious fashion education. Through my work, I aim to create an impact beyond the classroom—empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to drive meaningful change in education and the fashion industry.I welcome collaborations, partnerships, and discussions on sustainable fashion, experiential learning, workforce development, and ethical innovation.
